Maybe the most unusual thing about profanity-laced porn playing over a Target store’s loudspeaker is that it’s happened before.

As KCBS reports, a Target in San Jose had its typical muzak and easy listening soundtrack disrupted on Wednesday by x-rated moaning.

“My body said, 'Wait a minute, that's not right.' I was uneasy,” said Chris Minor, who took cell phone video of aghast shoppers.

The store apologized for the audio and things went back to normal, only to have the porn sounds begin playing a second time.

Target issued a statement saying: “We are actively reviewing the situation with the team to better understand what happened and to help ensure this doesn't happen again. Because this is an active investigation, I'm unable to share additional details, but we want our guests to know that we take this very seriously."

This isn’t the first time a Target has played risqué sounds over the PA. As the Chronicle notes, a Target in San Luis Obispo did the same in July. That store was evacuated while staff scrambled to return the PA to banality.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
