It’s shaping up to be a tough day for BART.

This morning, trains were delayed in the East Bay as police at the Lake Merritt station tried to apprehend a robbery suspect who had fled into a tunnel. And this afternoon, the Chronicle reports that a person may have jumped in front of a train at the Embarcadero station.

According to reports, at around 1:30 p.m. BART police received word of the (possible) jumper, but so far no further information has been released, and emergency crews are still on the scene. Trains are single-tracking through the station, although some riders have tweeted that trains are being held in Oakland.

We’ll update the post as this story develops.

Update: The Examiner reports that an eastbound Dublin/Pleasanton train struck someone on the tracks. "There are major delays for all lines traveling through Embarcadero station. Passengers on the other three lines will need to transfer to the Pittsburgh/Bay Point to SFO line, which is still running in both directions."

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
