The San Francisco City School District is having trouble recruiting new teachers because of the high cost of housing in SF. How is the school district addressing the problem?

  • They've admitted that some children will be left behind
  • Superintendent Carranza has an unlisted basement that can hold, like, six people
  • Something they call “The Walter White program”
  • They hope that using hashtags will fix something
  • Each school's geography teacher is trying to find the best camping spots in Golden Gate Park
  • The're building houses in Second Life
  • They're selling a school to condo developers
  • They're giving up, just like the rest of us

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
