Breaking news, ya’all. After a week of mild seasonal temps around the Bay, a blast of heat is about to bring a taste of good, ol' fashioned American summer to our godforsaken progressive corner of the world.

According to the Chronicle, the Bay’s meteorological paper of note, temps will start inching up on Monday, and by mid-next week we’ll potentially see triple digits in the East Bay. Brentwood could see a high of 106 on Wednesday.

For those keeping score at home, next week the Bay will be hotter than Columbus, Ohio; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Muncie, Indiana; and Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
