Documents detailing the child pornography charges against Enrique Pearce, the 41-year old political consultant who was on the payroll of Mayor Ed Lee until his arrest last week, were made public in court on Wednesday. And they are bad — as in shockingly bad.

Pearce pleaded not guilty to six felonies, but he had his bail increased and was remanded back into custody at San Francisco County Jail after a judge agreed that he's a safety risk following some sickening revelations.

Pearce's taste was for "boys 8-12." He took photos of boys in this age group out in public with his iPhone, according to court filings. He harbored fantasies of sharing a such a child with another man, and he also stashed images of prepubescent boys in S&M acts and infants as young as "6 months old" in various sex acts, according to prosecutors.

Pearce was earning $5,000 a month as a consultant to Lee less than a week ago, and had done work for some of San Francisco's top politicos.

Pearce was arrested after a witness with whom he'd been sharing late-night chats on Yahoo Messenger went to police.

The pair had been chatting about sexual relationships with young boys when Pearce sent him two pornographic images of prepubescent boys, and asked him to send a photo of "his dick" in return, according to prosecutors.

After the witness went to police, investigators looked up Pearce's Yahoo Messenger name and were able to trace its IP address to Pearce's home on McAllister Street and his law offices on Market Street, according to court filings.

At Pearce's rented apartment on McAllister Street near Civic Center, police found almost 200 videos and photographs of boys in sex acts on various computers, as well as an $1,800 parking meter stolen from the nearby Tenderloin.

Details are below. But warning: descriptions are graphic and very disturbing.

Pearce catapulted to local political prominence after managing Matt Gonzalez's campaign for mayor in 2003.

He earned a reputation as a skilled campaign logo and graphics maker, and piled up a string of victories, including the elections of Supervisor Jane Kim and school board members Hydra Mendoza and Sandra Fewer.

He also earned notoriety as campaign efforts with which he was involved repeatedly skirted ethics laws, though he dodged ethics violations for his handling of the "Run Ed Run" effort to extol Lee to run for mayor in 2011.

Known as a workaholic who rarely slept more than four hours a night, he is also known as a loner with few close friends.

He's due back in court on June 22nd.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
