Now that they have a clean bill of health and they've learned the basics about being a penguin — how to eat fish and swim — these two baby chicks need an identity.
That's where you come in.
The California Academy of Sciences is asking the public to
cast their vote on names for the two baby penguins born three months ago (one male and one female). The babies joined the African penguin colony yesterday after months of behind the scenes bonding with fellow birds and humans.
If you feel as though you need to get to know them a little before assigning a name, here's
some footage that should give you a solid introduction to the adorable duo:
