That driver who crashed into former Assemblyman Tom Ammiano earlier this week appeared in court where he cursed out a judge, illustrating that he could probably use a better lawyer than himself.

The Chron reports that Ronnie Moody, 32, was acting as his own attorney when he called San Francisco Superior Court Judge Philip Moscone a fat mother fucker and then told a jurist to "kiss my dick."

In any event, Moody faces 18 criminal counts and three traffic infractions in connection to the Feb. 7 crash in SOMA. He was arrested after allegedly crashing his black sedan into several vehicles near Sixth and Mission streets, including Ammiano's vehicle.

Moody was speeding away from a separate incident on the 3300 block where he reportedly got into an altercation, forcing a cop to "dive for safety," according to the newspaper.

He's been charged with 13 felonies, including assault on a peace officer, assault with a deadly weapon, attempted second-degree robbery, criminal threats, unlawful driving, leaving the scene of an accident and trying to take a police officer’s gun. In addition, he has five misdemeanor counts, including resisting arrest, hit and run, and battery with injury of emergency personnel.

Moody has prior convictions for stalking, domestic violence, threats to an executive officer and assault on a peace officer. He will be back in court today.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
