An 18-year-old man is in life-threatening condition Monday after he was gunned down at Coit Tower over the weekend.
Sgt. Monica MacDonald says that at about 3 a.m. on Sunday, the victim flagged down a driver on Broadway and Columbus, asking for a ride to San Francisco General Hospital.
The victim, who has not been identified, was not able to give police any information prior to going into surgery, however, he did say he had been shot in the area of Coit Tower, MacDonald tells us.
There was no suspect description at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact SFPD at (415) 575-4444.
