Cops Arrest Two in the Stabbing Death of Casey Bissell

San Francisco police arrested 26-year-old Andres Novelo  and 31-year-old Josue Chan-Perez on suspicion of murdering 25-year-old Casey Bissell earlier this week. 

According to police, the two suspects were arguing with Bissell on 18th and valencia streets Sunday morning when one of the suspects pulled a knife and stabbed Bissell. The victim was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital where he later died. 

Both subjects were arrested and later booked at San Francisco County Jail for murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, and aggravated assault charges.

There are no booking photos available at this time because this is still an open investigation with identification matters pending. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call SFPD anonymously at (415) 575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.
