San Francisco police arrested 65-year-old Raymond Lucas on suspicion of hitting and killing a city worker as she walked in front of City Hall.

According to police reports, 68-year-old Priscila Moreto was killed last Friday when a tour bus loaded with passengers struck her as she walked through a crosswalk at City Hall.

Moreto, who worked as a senior accountant in the City Controller's Office, was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

This morning, SFPD confirmed their investigation was complete and that police had arrested Lucas, a Menlo Park resident, on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter. He has since been released.

Media reports noted that Moreto was returning to City Hall from a pedestrian safety event with Mayor Ed Lee when she was struck.
