Two Injured After Jeep Crashes Into Taxi Cab

Posted By on Tue, Oct 14, 2014 at 9:17 AM

San Francisco police are investigating a car crash this morning that left two injured in the city's Western Addition neighborhood.

According to Sgt. Monica MacDonald, a driver in a Jeep blew through a red light at Octavia and Oak streets at about 3:30 a.m. and slammed into a taxi. One of the occupants in the Jeep hopped out and fled the scene but was later arrested.

Two people were taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries. At this point, investigators are still trying to figure out if the Jeep had been stolen or if alcohol played a role in the crash, MacDonald tells us.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
