Despite the fact that today is the first day of October, there's no sign that a crisp Autumn is on its way. So put your favorite sweater back in the closet and slip into a tank top instead.

Summer is here.

According to the National Weather Service, San Francisco temperatures are expected to reach 81 and linger there through the weekend. Temperatures in the surrounding areas will be even higher — 94 degrees in Marin and 100 degrees down in the South Bay.
And if you were hoping to escape this nonsense and cool off along the coast, think again. It'll be hot as hell there, too, with temperatures peaking in the mid 80s.

Now might be a good time to resume your raindance.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
