An unidentified man has died after he and his son were pulled from the waves at Ocean Beach yesterday evening.

According to KTVU, the father and son were surfing near the Beach Chalet at about 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday when they became "overwhelmed by the waves." Paramedics arrived and found the father still in the water and unresponsive.
The son was pulled to a nearby stairwell and was also unconscious. Both men were taken to local hospital. KTVU confirmed that the father later died.

The Medical Examiner's Officer says they have not yet identified the man.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
