Last month, news junkies read all about how Krista Arata Hodges' teaching style had come into question after school officials learned the Newark teacher tweeted some nasty thoughts about her students, saying she wanted to stab them.

Parents and other faculty members were pretty upset about the whole thing, some calling on the school district to boot her from her gig as a history and science teacher. But today the cops tell CBS News that her nasty thoughts were just that: nasty thoughts. And nothing more.

Police confirmed that Hodges' tweets were "inappropriate and unprofessional" but not criminal.
To refresh your memory, here are some of her infamous tweets:

The tweets were written in April, May and June of this year, but it wasn't until kids returned to school this past month that another teacher discovered them and reported Hodges to authorities.

Police investigated the incident, and found that the tweets did not rise to the level of criminal threats. Even after turning the case over to the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office, they too, declined to file charges.

Hodges was reprimanded by school officials, and while she's still in the classroom, Hodge's is no longer on Twitter.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
