Posted By on Tue, Aug 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM

BART trains are running a bit behind schedule this afternoon after a burglary suspect was nabbed in downtown Oakland.

According to BART police, at about 11:50 a.m. a suspected auto burglar went down to the train platforms in downtown Oakland, leading police on a short pursuit from the 14th Street platform to the 12th Street platform. "The suspect made it up to the street level and Oakland police arrested him," a BART cop told us.
Trains were held for about 10 minutes during the brief incident, causing delays up to 15 minutes.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
