An unidentified woman was shot this morning as she was walking near a playground in the Potrero Hill neighborhood.

Police were called out to 22nd and Missouri streets at about 8:40 a.m. where they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her upper body. She was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where she's being treated for her injury. Police say she's expected to survive. "The suspect or suspects fled the area on foot. It is still an active scene and investigation," Officer Gordon Shyy tells us. Police told the Examiner that it could have been a mugging gone wrong.

Police are at the scene combing the area for more evidence. Anyone with information is asked to call SFPD at (415) 575-4444.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
