At least one person is in critical condition this morning after a trio of men took police on a high-speed chase through the Mission district last night, ending in a one-car collision.

At about 1:17 a.m., police conducting a criminal investigation attempted to pull over three men in a black Ford Mustang. Rather than obeying the officer, the driver hit the pedal and sped off. And the chase began.

"The suspect vehicle may of collided on Folsom Street and continued on," says Sgt. Danielle Newman, adding that details of the incident were scarce this morning.

What we do know is that the vehicle eventually collided into a fire hydrant at Cesar Chavez and York Street, and the three occupants/suspects had to be extricated by the SFFD.

The three men (ages 20, 23, and 24) were taken to San Francisco General Hospital, two with non life-threatening injuries and one with life-threatening injuries.

This is still preliminary information. The investigation is continuing and this is all we have at this time.) An arrest was made, but Newman says the suspects have not yet been booked.

Details coming soon ...

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
