San Francisco police need your help locating 82-year-old Shu "Song" Chen who has been missing since Saturday afternoon.

Officer Albie Esparza says Chen walked away from his residence on Hale Street just after 2 p.m. on Saturday for unknown reasons. His family later received tips that he was spotted at Portsmouth Square on Saturday evening. However, he was never located.

Chen has a Clipper Card and is known to ride the 8S bus as well as frequent the Chinatown neighborhood.

Chen takes pain medication which was not in his possession at the time he went missing, police said. He's described as a 5-foot-3 Asian male, weighing about 150 pounds. He has a brown eyes and white hair and an aging mark underneath his right eye. Chen was last seen wearing a yellow jacket and black rain shoes. He uses a dark-red cane to walk.

In addition, Chen has to wear hearing aides, although he can still barely hear, Esparza says. He's gone missing one other time and was located at Ocean Avenue along 19th Avenue.

If you see him, please contact SFPD at (415)553-1071. His family misses him.
