An unidentified man was gunned down near Golden Gate Park last night -- the fourth violent incident this week.

Officer Albie Esparza says the cops were called out to Stanyan and Haight Street at about 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday where they found an adult male who had been shot multiple times.

He was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital where he's being treated for his injuries. Police say he's expected to survive.

Meanwhile, police continue to search the area for the shooter. No suspect is in custody as of this morning. Anyone with information is asked to contact SFPD anonymously at 415-575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at start of message.

Yesterday, an unidentified man was shot multiple times as he walked along Dolores Street in the Mission District. Police say a pair of robbers demanded his valuables and when he refused, they shot him. Earlier this week, 57-year-old Peter Myles was stabbed to death on the 2900 block of 16th Street; 12 hours later, 24-year-old Edric Carr was shot to death in the city's Potrero Hill neighborhood.
