A few unexpected changes we've noticed since San Franciscans started moving to our town: You can no longer get a 1-bedroom apartment for under $1,000; former friends who shunned us for living in Oakland have since moved to Oakland (we're still not friends); and downtown has attracted two important San Francisco fixtures: Ike's Sandwiches and an Obama fundraiser.
Oh, and the strange in Oakland has only gotten stranger.
