Man Shot to Death at Potrero Hill Housing Projects

Medical authorities are not yet releasing the name of the man who was fatally gunned down at a San Francisco public housing complex last night.

According to the Medical Examiner, they have identified the man but have not yet contacted his family.

At about 9:15 p.m., San Francisco police responded to the unit block of Turner Terrace near the Potrero Annex public housing area regarding a shooting. Officers immediately found a man who had a gunshot wound to his head. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he later died.

Additional cops were called to the scene to control the crowds that gathered near the crime scene.
