Nothing will sober you up like getting hit by a car.

A 30-year-old woman is recovering this week from a head injury (and probably a really bad hang over) after she reportedly got hammered and then got hit by a car.

According to Officer Albie Esparza, the very intoxicated woman was walking along Hayes Street at about 12:26 a.m. on Friday when she fell into the street and passed out.

A driver cruising along Hayes did not see the unresponsive woman and hit her with her car, Esparza says. The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with a head injury. She got lucky this time and is expected to survive, police say.

The driver remained at the scene, and was not cited or arrested.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
