Apparently, someone didn't read our memo about the DUI checkpoints/lots of cops on the roads this past weekend.

A 24-year-old woman spent part of her weekend in detox after allegedly getting hammered and driving her car into a San Francisco police patrol car. According to Officer Albie Esparza, the woman was cruising along Albion and 16th streets in her silver Chrysler at about 10:49 p.m. Sunday when she plowed right into two cops in their patrol car.

As if that wasn't enough law-breaking, the woman then got out of her car and started running. The cops chased her down on foot and hauled her to San Francisco County Jail where she was booked on felony hit and run and DUI.

The two cops were treated for minor pains to their legs and wrists.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
