Search crews scoured the Haight District yesterday looking for 21-year-old Crishtian Hughes who mysteriously disappeared in San Francisco year. The renewed search came after a volunteer claimed to have spotted the missing man in the Haight District last week.

Hughes was last seen on Feb. 7, 2013, on the 900 block of Capitol Avenue in San Francisco. The San Diego man was staying with friends for the weekend when he disappeared. He was last seen at about 12:30 a.m. at the place where he was staying; his friends woke up at about 10 a.m. the next morning and said Hughes was gone.

He's not been seen or heard from since. Neither his cellphone nor his bank cards have been used, according to the Facebook page dedicated to locating Hughes.

But last week, a woman claimed to have spotted someone resembling Hughes, albeit with longer, curlier hair. It's believed that he now goes by "Chris."

Per the Facebook page:

This was after a strong possible sighting of him on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. on Haight & Clayton (in San Francisco, CA). The young man sighted appeared to be in desperate need of medical attention. In this same exact area bloodhounds of the K9 Forensics Search Team picked up a live scent for Christian last December.

The person spotted was wearing thin, cotton pajama bottoms and very worn dark-colored tennis shoes with no socks. He is also believed to be accompanying a female with blonde hair.

If you do see Hughes, keep him in sight, but don't approach him. Call 911 or (910) 627-3244.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
