Earlier this week, BART unveiled its new fleet of cars that's supposed to make your overall commuting experience a hell of a lot better. Passengers got the first chance to step inside the new trains and see what they look, feel, and smell like.
Unfortunately, we didn't make it out there (though we are avid BART riders and are curious). But based on this 2-minute clip from BART, the whole world is pleased. Somehow, the transit agency managed to edit out the protesters that were out there, demanding BART change the current design. Specifically, it was BART passengers with disabilities who claim the new handhold poles in the entry ways of the new cars are impeding their ability to ride the trains.
