The San Francisco Police Department reported that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Haight and Octavia Boulevard at 4 p.m Friday. Earlier reports from 911 callers claimed that the pedestrian was thrown into the street into the oncoming vehicle's path.
"The suspect may have fled the area in a white vehicle," said officer Gordon Shyy based off of early 911 calls. According to a tweet by ABC 7 news, the police now say that the person fell into the street and was not pushed. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
