A 14-year-old boy is in critical condition this morning after he was shot by another teen in the city's Bayview neighborhood last night.

Details were scarce, but police say officers were called to the 700 block of Kirkwood at about 7 p.m. on reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his chest.

The boy was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he's being treated for a life-threatening wound.

Police caught up with the alleged shooter -- a 15-year-old boy whose name is not being released because he's a juvenile. According to Officer Gordon Shyy, the firearm used was recovered and the suspect was booked in San Francisco County Juvenile Hall.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
