Cops to Drivers: Don't Forget How to Drive in the Rain

Posted By on Fri, Mar 28, 2014 at 1:53 PM

Don't put your galoshes in the closet just yet.

More rain is headed this way for the weekend. According to the National Weather Service, there's a 40 percent chance of precipitation tonight with a gust of wind at 14 mph.

And on Saturday, it's almost sure to rain, with a 90 percent chance of showers in the day. Sunday's forecast also predicts a 20 percent chance of rain and a high of 63 degrees, which is perfect hoodie weather.

As fun as it is to celebrate these soakers with a jaunt in the rain, it's apparently easy to forget the basics when behind the wheel. Thank God for the SFPD. The cops are here to remind everyone to remember to turn on your headlights and start your windshield wipers when it starts to pour.

Don't forget to put your underwear on while you're at it.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
