A San Francisco man was hauled to jail over the weekend after he pulled a knife on his mother and slashed her numerous times while at their home in the Bayview.

On Saturday at about 9:30 a.m., the cops were called to the 1800 block of 25th Street where a 48-year-old woman was reportedly being attacked by her 25-year-old son. The victim told police that after an argument, her son dragged her into a bathroom where he proceeded to stab her multiple times, according to police reports.

An unexpected knock at the front door interrupted the crime. The victim told her son to answer the door and get rid of the visitor, promising should would keep quiet and not say a word.

When her son went to the front door, she bolted into the bedroom and locked herself inside where she called the cops. Police arrived a few minutes later and forced their way into the home where they found the woman with stab wounds all over her body. Paramedics took her to San Francisco General Hospital where she was treated for "very serious injuries," police said.

The son was arrested at the scene and taken to San Francisco County Jail where he was booked on charges of attempted murder. It's probably safe to assume, mom wasn't going to bail him out of this one.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
