Too bad you re-gifted those expensive rainboots you got for Christmas. In your defense, it was a smart move, until now.

Because tonight it's going to rain and then rain some more all weekend long.

According to the National Weather Service, San Francisco will finally get what it wants -- a little precipitation. Sometime around 4 p.m., there will be a 30 percent chance of showers and by the time you're in bed catching up on your shows, the drizzle will more than likely become full-on raindrops.

Then tomorrow, the likelihood of chilly showers will continue, with a high near 58, and Friday, there will be a 40 percent chance of rain.

You can go ahead and cancel that sunny bike ride you had planned this weekend and prepare for rain Saturday, Sunday, and maybe Monday, too.

The sun will return next week, so keep conserving water.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
