An unidentified person is clinging to life today after being injured in a double stabbing along the Embarcadero early this morning.

Police were called out to the Embarcadero between Pier 5 and Pier 7 at about 4:15 a.m. on reports of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found two people suffering from stab wounds.

The victims were taken to San Francisco General Hospital where one is being treated with life-threatening injuries. The second victim has non life-threatening injuries and is expected to survive, says Officer Albie Esparza.

Police had no information about the circumstances of the stabbing, nor did they have a suspect description at this time. However, immediately after the stabbing, KTVU spoke with some fishermen in the area who says it the man who had stabbed the two victims appeared to be drinking and had pulled out the knife on other people in the same area earlier that night.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
