It wasn't a great weekend for San Francisco. Aside from the 49ers losing a spot at the Super Bowl, the cops were busy dealing with people shooting and stabbing each other.

An unidentified man is clinging to life after he was stabbed near San Francisco's Embarcadero Sunday morning. According to press reports, officers were called out to the Embarcadero near Folsom Street at about 1:45 a.m. where they found a man in his 20s with multiple stab wounds to his chest.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, Officer Gordon Shyy says. Police believe the suspect is a man in his 50s who, according to witnesses, was in a verbal argument with the victim when the stabbing occurred.

The suspect was later arrested after he was found hiding near the crime scene, police tell reporters.

Later that night, two people were taken to the hospital after a double shooting in the Tenderloin.

At about 9 p.m., police responded to the unit block of Turk Street where they found two people with gunshot wounds -- one had been shot in the leg and one in the arm, says Officer Gordon Shyy.

Both victims were transported to San Francisco General Hospital and are expected to survive from their injuries. Police later located a suspect -- and the firearm allegedly used in the shooting -- on the 900 block of Market Street. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of gunning down the two victims.

Traffic was blocked off and Muni was diverted while police investigated the crime scene late last night.

And then there was the 49ers game -- another deep tragedy for San Francisco.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
