William Randleston, Suspect in Fatal Stabbing, Arrested

San Francisco Police arrested 58-year-old William Randleston on homicide charges after he allegedly stabbed a man in the chest Thursday night in the Mission District.

The incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m. in Wiese Alley, between 15th Street and 16th Street where SFPD responded to a call of a person that had been stabbed.

On arrival, police found the 56-year-old male victim stabbed in the chest who was then taken to the hospital where later died of his injuries. Officers acquired a description of the suspect and later arrested him in the area for homicide.

SFPD Homicide Investigators are still on the lookout for any additional witnesses. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact 415-575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.
