Bullet Hits Man in the Head As He Drove Through Sunnydale

San Francisco police are investigating a shooting that injured a 40-year-old man as he drove through the Sunnydale neighborhood yesterday morning.

According to police, the man was driving along the 800 block of Velasco Street at about 11 a.m. when a bullet grazed his head; he noticed he was bleeding from his head so he pulled over and called police.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he's being treated for his head wound.

Meanwhile, police are looking for the suspect, who was reportedly a black male in a green sedan.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call San Francisco Police at 575-4444.
