There's a reason Santa Claus is known as a saint. Not only does he love all children, even the ones who cry and poop their pants while sitting on his lap, but he loves all your crazy pets, too.

Or at least he pretends he does, and that alone makes him a saint.

If while walking your pet spider on a leash today you still don't know what he wants for Christmas, perhaps Santa does. Later, the two of you should take a trip to the Peninsula Humane Society where Santa Claus will be making his lap available to God's "other" creatures.

Santa will be there today from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., at 1450 Rollins Road in Burlingame. Bring your own camera and please leave your animals on leashes, in cages, carriers, and bowls.

You will pay a $10 fee to have your pet pose with Santa, and all that cash will go toward helping homeless animals.

Now for the burning question: Are there any pets that Santa won't put on his lap?

"Dogs apt to express their anal glands," said Scott Delucchi, spokesman for the Peninsula Humane Society. "Also, Santa isn't excited about posing with any animal that is illegal to own -- Mike Tyson should leave his tiger at home."

So go ahead and treat your hamster, snake, goat, lizard, fish, etc. to an afternoon on Santa's lap. And please, don't feel weird about it, we're definitely going to witness much stranger things at our family holiday party this year.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
