San Francisco police need your help locating the driver who hit a cyclist last night near the Civic Center and sped off, leaving the victim behind.

Officer Gordon Shyy says the cyclist was pedaling along Seventh and Mission streets at about 7 p.m. yesterday when he/she was hit by a driver in a white van.

After hitting the biker, the driver left the scene and has not been located. The cyclist was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, however, his/her condition is unknown at this time.

The cops are asking anyone who might have seen this, or who has since spotted a white van with front-end damage and possibly a shattered window to call SFPD now at 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with "SFPD" in the message.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
