We're guessing not many of you made it out to SFO at 7 a.m. this morning to watch the 15 or so San Francisco chihuahuas get their fancy send off to New York City via Virgin Airlines.

It was a lucky guess.

Also lucky (for you) is there's video footage of the heartwarming event for you to enjoy this evening.

As you probably already know, the purse pups can't find a place to live in San Francisco which has more chihuahuas than the city has homes. So the San Francisco Animal Care & Control partnered with Virgin America to fly the dogs to New York City where they're sure to find a warm bowl of kibble and a roof over their head.

Up next: Macy's 27th annual Holiday Windows event, which gives locals a good excuse to head down to Union Square during the holidays; adoptable cats and dogs will be showcased in Macy's holiday windows in Union Square. Don't worry, we'll keep you posted.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
