San Francisco authorities this morning identified 62-year-old Han Cheng Li as the man who died this weekend after he was hit by a car in Potrero Hill.

According to police, Li was walking along 16th Street at about 11:38 p.m. on Saturday when he was hit by a white van.

Li was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he died several hours later from a head injury. The driver -- who was only identified as a 54-year-old man -- was not arrested, according to Officer Gordon Shyy.
