Twitter Files for an IPO

Just days after installing a triumphal bird ornament atop its lavish headquarters at 1355 Market St., Twitter made even bigger news: The estimated $15 billion IPO is upon us.

Or rather, it's coming imminently. Today Twitter announced -- via Twitter, of course -- that it submitted an S-1 to the SEC and plans to go public ASAP.
