The San Francisco Zoo announced the birth of a healthy 5-pound girl gorilla who came into the world yesterday afternoon, born to parents Nneka and Oscar Jonesy.

This is Nneka's first child, but Oscar's second baby (player!). The infant is happy and healthy and will spend the next few days slowly getting to know her six other family members also living at the zoo.

That means the gorillas won't be on exhibit for a while while they bond with the new baby. Assuming all goes well, you will soon be able to see the gorillas daily in the Jones Family Gorilla Preserve.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
