Body Found at the Golden Gate Bridge

An unidentified body was pulled from the waters near the Golden Gate Bridge yesterday morning.

According to news reports, people on a tourist boat spotted the body floating near the mid-span of the Bridge at about 10:30 a.m. They called 911, and the the U.S. Coast Guard arrived to pull the body to shore.

We contacted the Marin County Coroner's Office to get the identity of the body -- we'll let you know when we have more information.
