Medical authorities say it was 19-year-old Jaquan Rice who was gunned down yesterday afternoon at a Muni bus stop in Hunter's Point.

According to police, Rice was sitting at the bus stop with a female at Westpoint and Middlepoint roads at about 1 p.m. when they were shot. The two were taken to San Francisco General Hospital where Rice died. The female victim, who has not been identified, is in critical condition, according to police.

Police were canvassing the scene yesterday afternoon, looking for witnesses and evidence that would shed some light on what motivated the shooting.

Police still have no suspects in this case, and ask that if you saw the shooting or know anything about it, please call the SFPD's confidential tip line at 575-4444 or Text-a-Tip at TIP 411, with SFPD in the header.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
