Lai Ying Tam Identified as Elderly Woman Found Floating in the Bay

Authorities confirmed it was 94-year-old Lai Ying Tam whose body was found yesterday morning floating in the water right behind Pier 2

Mindy Talmadge, spokeswoman for the San Francisco Fire Department, told reporters that fire crews were called to Pier 2 near Sinbad's Restaurant at about 11 a.m. after a police marine unit spotted the woman's body.

Medical authorities have not yet determined the cause of death.
