Just before midnight, an unidentified man was hit by a Caltrain traveling north through San Francisco.

According to Christine Dunn, spokeswoman with the agency, the man was at Mission Bay Drive at about 11:58 p.m. when the northbound train #199 hit him. The man was taken to a local hospital, however his injuries are unknown at this time.

There were some 50 passengers aboard the train, however none were injured. The tracks were closed to trains until 12:30 p.m., allowing the last train of the night to depart San Francisco, 30 minuets late.

Authorities are still unsure what happened and said early this morning that they are investigating it. We contacted Caltrain to get more details about the incident, and we'll tell you more when we know more.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
