A female student at International Studies Academy was detained this morning after she allegedly zapped her classmate with a stun gun she brought to school -- the same school that was on lockdown yesterday when a student was reportedly found with a gun.
Police say they got the call before 9 a.m. today on reports that a male student was hurt; police arrived but said they could not find any injuries on the boy. They did however, find the stun gun, which belongs to the female student.
According to Sgt. Dennis Toomer, the girl was showing off the gun to a curious classmate when the two got into a "friendly tussle" over the stun gun. At some point during the tussle, the male student claimed he was zapped by the gun.

The boy was released to his parents and is not at school today, Toomer said. "We're not even sure if he got stunned or not," Toomer said.
Police are still investigating the incident, which came a day after a 14-year-old boy was reportedly armed with a gun on campus. Police arrived at the school yesterday afternoon after the eighth grader ran away from school. Authorities say a suspicious security guard brought the boy to the Principal's Office, claiming he had a gun. The teen was told to empty his pockets, but instead he took off running.
Police arrived, and located both the boy and the gun, however the firearm was not found in the teen's possession.
The school was on lockdown during that incident.
