San Francisco police announced arrests in the gruesome case where a man and a teen were found gagged and tied on a street in the city's Visitacion Valley neighborhood on Sunday.

Officer Albie Esparza said five people were arrested, but only two were booked for the murder of Stephen Reid, 26, who died Sunday night after the cops found him and a teenage girl gagged and bound along the 900 block of Brussels Street.

Maelene Lintz, 32, of San Francisco, and Montrail Brackens, 21, of Oakland, were arrested on suspicion of murder.

Tyler Miller, 19, and Heather Leach, 24 both of Hercules, and Maryann Manalastas, 22, of Oakland, were arrested on suspicion of accessory to murder, Esparza said.

Investigators determined that the crime was not random, and that the suspects and victims had "well-established" relationships. However, police would not elaborate on those relationships. They also couldn't say anything about a possible motive.

Esparza said Reid appeared to have suffered blunt-force trauma as well as a gunshot wound to his upper body.

All the suspects were arrested this morning at a house in Hercules, a town just 25 miles north of San Francisco.

The female victim, who has only been identified as 18 or 19 years old, remains in critical condition at San Francisco General Hospital.

"This type of crime is something you see in the movies," Esparza said at a press conference outside the Hall of Justice this afternoon.

Anyone with any information regarding this incident is urged to contact SFPD at 575-4444 anonymously or text a tip to TIP411.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
