Angelo Rodriguez Identified as Man Shot to Death in Sunnydale; Homicide No. 62

A 36-year-old man was murdered the night before Thanksgiving, marking the city's 62nd homicide this year.

Medical authorities this morning identified the victim as Angelo Rodriguez, whose city of residence is still unknown.

According to Officer Gordon Shyy, police were called to the unit block of Brookdale just before 7:15 p.m. on reports of a shooting Wednesday. When they arrived, they found Rodriguez with a gunshot wound to his head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police had no further details about this incident at this time.
