Well, this is scary.

A 19-year-old girl was attacked and robbed on her way to class at City College yesterday morning, police say.

Officer Gordon Shyy says the crime happened about 7 a.m. on the unit block of Phelan Avenue. The teen was walking across the footbridge to City College when a man approached her from behind.

The suspect put his arms around her neck and began choking her; he then pushed her to the ground and snatched her cell phone. He ran off in an unknown direction, according to police.

The victim reported having minor injuries, but refused medical attention. As for the suspect, police had very little information about him, other than he was a black man between the ages of 20 and 25.

Be careful on your way to school today.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
