(Update 2:59 p.m.): Officer Gordon Shyy contacted us to say that police have  decided the incident was a "possible kidnapping" and that part of the investigation will determine what happened to the woman.

(Original story 10 a.m.):
San Francisco police are investigating a disturbing incident last night where an unidentified woman was kidnapped as she walked through the city's Tenderloin neighborhood.

Police have very little information about the incident, but Officer Gordon Shyy tells us that about 7:41 p.m. witnesses saw three black men grab the woman on the unit block of Turk Street, put her in a vehicle, and drive off.

There was no further description of the suspects, and the car the woman was shoved in was only described as a "dark vehicle."

That's all the information we have for now.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
