Pro-Life Billboard Gets Another, More Unsavory Political Makeover

Posted By on Tue, Sep 11, 2012 at 2:25 PM

Last week, liberals across San Francisco were thrilled by the work of some left-leaning artists who took it upon themselves to revise a pro-choice billboard spotted along Cortland Avenue. It was like really cheap neighborhood beautification!

The diligent folks at Bernalwood were the first to point out the lovely redesign, which you can see here. As Bernalwood notes today, CBS Outdoor indeed replaced the defaced billboard with a brand-new version of the original pro-life ad, which someone took as an invite to get tacky and tasteless. Have a look at the latest hack job:

Looks like politics in Bernal Heights is getting really ugly -- literally.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
